Abstract

The article describes a program of educational intervention on learning strategies and the results of its implementation in secondary teaching students. The aim of research was to test the effectiveness of the program, but also to examine the impact of the program in relation to the academic achievement of the students. The results show that the program was effective not only to improve strategies but also to increase the academic achievement and that strategic improvement was higher in the case of students with low and average achievement than in the case of students with high achievement.

Resumen

El artículo describe un programa de intervención en estrategias de aprendizaje y los resultados de su aplicación en estudiantes de secundaria obligatoria. El objetivo era comprobar la eficacia del programa, pero también examinar el impacto del programa en función del resultado académico de los estudiantes. Los resultados muestran que el programa ha sido eficaz no sólo en la mejora de las estrategias, sino también en la mejora del rendimiento académico y que la mejora estratégica es mayor en los estudiantes de bajo y medio rendimiento que en los de rendimiento elevado.
